Noel D’Cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek India, said, “Books have lost none of its relevance in India despite the clamouring about digital and social media platforms. The printed books continue to be the most efficient and enduring methods of delivering texts, and this category is a sign of appreciation to all the book printers across the country.”

To evaluate the awards, the PrintWeek India jury will look for the highest quality of printing married to precision in post-press and finishing operations. The entrants must submit four different books either case bound or paperback or both.

The Book Printer of the Year (Academic and Trade) category focuses on books related to science, technical, medical; and textbook types (books with mono colour or two-colour printed inner pages and multi-colour printed cover). While the Specialty category includes coffee-table books, non-fiction works pertaining to history, sports, nature, travel, entertainment, and lifestyles.

Last year, Replica Press bagged the Book Printer of the Year (Academic and Trade) award and Pragati Offset was the winner in the Specialty category.

Information about all the categories is available on the website. Don’t delay, register now at www.printweekindiaawards.com. The last date to submit the entries is 30 August 2019.
