PrintWell forays into educational books production with WB@2500

The 25-year company who are currently working in a 25,000 sq/ft factory with a staff of 253 have acquired a reputation for quality book printing for publishers, commercial printing plus specialisation in hard-case books.

PrintWell was started by Gurinder Singh and Ravinder Singh in 1994. They have their own publication house named Singh Brothers Publication. Thus far they have been associated with regional language and religious books publishing in Punjabi, educational books, coffee table books and exports. Gurinder Singh said, “The USP of the press is it is probably the best equipped in terms of case-making in Punjab. Having a complete gamut of case-making and casing inline machines including DA 231 case-maker and BF-522, end sheet pasting machine etc.” 

During PrintPack 2019, they purchased a WB@2500 with six book clamps, separate side glueing, adjustable ornamental creasing, inline cover feeding, powerful cam based nipping station and delivery. The idea was to handle projects that include softcover in addition to the domain expertise in high-quality hardcover binding, exports and reference/academic books. 

Having an established name as a leading producer of hardcover books in Punjab, PrintWell wanted the expansion projects to include soft cover facility as well. Their team found the WB@2500 displayed in PrintPack 2019 to best suit our requirement in terms of productivity, quality and MIS. As soon as the machine was installed about 1.25 lakh books were bound within a week, from printing to packing.
