This category is aimed for the small and medium-sized print firms and is designed to recognise the achievements of printers with up to 50 employees and/or a turnover of less than Rs 50 crore.

To present this award, the PrintWeek India auditors will analyse financials of preceding two years (balance sheet, profit and loss account, notes to accounts, audit report) certified as true copies by the management/owners/partners, memorandum and articles of association, tax audit filings in case of entities that are not companies, details of ratings secured from any credit rating agency, and of course, the print samples.

(Please note: The financial year under review for the above category is from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 and 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019)

Indore-based Vijayshri Packaging, won the honour during the 10th edition of the Awards.

Noel D’Cunha, managing editor, PrintWeek India, said, “The Indore-based packaging specialist had humble beginnings in 1991 with a single-colour offset printing machine. And now, in the past two years, our auditors said that their gross sales and current ratio for the year 2017-18 are the second-highest in the category. In addition to this were its excellent packaging jobs that helped them bag the Award.”

The shortlisted companies in this category were Coral Print Pack, Khosla Printers, Progressive Printing Press, Quarterfold Printabilites, and Sai Paks (Sai Group), amongst others.
