Vijayshri Packaging made its move in Central India, two years ago with a two-lakh sq/ft plant that housed more than 40 packaging and corrugation machines, capable of converting 2,000 MT of paper per month.

In the past 24 months, the firm has been ticking the boxes (quite literally) with a range of mono cartons for brands in pharmaceutical, FMCG, food, oil, sweets and garments. Vijayshri offered packaging and corrugation solution under one roof and ensured all kinds of surface finishing techniques that included foiling, UV varnish, drip-off effect and film lamination. The aim: to cater to pan-India requirements in addition to tapping the growth in Madhya Pradesh plus the formation of a pharma SEZ in Pithampur.

Today, Vijayshri has as an integrated packaging unit for mono cartons and corrugated boxes. “We have ambitious plans to grow and develop a national footprint by offering a broad range of products,” said director, Rajinder Jain to PrintWeek India.

The Indore-based packaging specialist had humble beginnings in 1991 with a single-colour offset printing machine. What sets it apart is its desire to invest and grow. Our auditors say, the gross sales and current ratio for the year 2017-18 is the second highest in the category. This plus their packaging clout bags them the Award.
