Continuous investment in equipment and technology is Printmann’s formula for growth. Managing director Bipin Tanna has managed many a coup since the early days of film processing when Bollywood superstars were spotted in the company premises. Tanna’s expansion drives since the inception of the company in 1987 include the acquisition of Veekay Graphics in Navi Mumbai. That’s how he has turned what was a boutique commercial operation in Lower Parel’s Adhyaru Industrial Estate to a pharma packaging all-rounder.

Investments and reinventing the paradigm have remained central to the company’s strategy even as the second generation directors – Tejas and Ankit – climbed into the driver’s seat. Today, Printmann Group has factories at three different sites and specialises in cartons, leaflets, labels, and aluminium foil printing.

In 2018, its gross sales and profitability has seen a significant surge backed by the boost in fixed assets of the company. This impressive business performance makes it worthy of its first PrintWeek India Award. Which is why PrintWeek India Awards jury and auditor raise their hats in salute.
