Navi Mumbai-based Printmann Group not only produces great examples of pharma packaging, but also understands the dynamics of change — especially the elements of success and failure.

While there are businesses which believe that reducing costs is the way to sell, Printmann’s Tejas Tanna says, “Never drop your price, you lose respect.”

As a result, in 2019, the company’s profits have soared, which is backed by a boost in the fixed assets. Its overall net worth too has been impressive, says our auditor.

Tanna’s father, Bipin Tanna established the company in 1987. His expansion drive included Veekay Graphics in Navi Mumbai, converting the 18,000 sq/ft facility into a full-fledged packaging unit.

That’s how a boutique commercial operation in Lower Parel’s Adhyaru Industrial Estate transformed into a pharma packaging specialist.

Printmann Group has factories at three different sites and specialises in carton, leaflets, labels, and aluminium foil printing.

The shortlisted companies in this category were:

  • ITC Packaging and Printing Division
  • Parksons Packaging
  • Pentaflex
  • Sai Paks
