PrintWeek Awards 2025: Silverpoint Press wins Fine Art Printer of the Year
Silverpoint Press surprised the jury members with its art book samples, making the books as impressive as the artworks they feature.

All four book samples — Sabavala, Souza, Mithu Sen and Himmat Shah (1,000 copies each) — were printed on a Heidelberg LX five-colour plus online coater 28x40-inch machine. The pre-press process includes Screen CTP, Apogee Workflow, and GMC colour management tool.
The jobs are printed on Royal Matt 150/170-gsm paper. The Himmat Shah book is printed on Mont Blanc Insper M Extra White 130/160-gsm. Post-press processes include silver lamination, gloss lamination, silver gloss, guild edging, satin aqueous, gold foil stamping, copper foil stamping, and embossing.
