Replika Press’ journey from a turnover of INR 22-crore two decades ago to INR 644-crore in 2023-24 (and INR 515-crore in 2024-25) highlights its significant impact on the industry.

Replika Press operates three factory units, with a fourth currently under construction, demonstrating its continuous expansion. These facilities collectively handle approximately 35,000-metric tonnes of paper stock, producing an astounding 80,000 hard case and 1,50,000 soft case books daily, with a target of 2,25,000 books per day. The company caters to a diverse range of book types, shapes, and varieties. A key differentiator for Replika Press is its Make in India strategy, which has been instrumental in boosting its export business. Exports have surged from INR 118-crore in 2018-19 to INR 333-crore in 2023-24, reaching INR 338-crore in 2024-25, with a target of INR 400-crore for the current financial year.

This exceptional performance has garnered numerous accolades in the export segment, including special export awards, top export awards from Capexil, and best export awards from Export Promotion Council for EOUs and SEZs (EPCES).

The company’s financial strength is further underscored by a Crisil A-plus rating. Replika Press has invested approximately INR 100-crore in new machinery, including a Roland 708 Evolution Press and a Heidelberg Speedmaster, to enhance overall capacity and significantly reduce book production times. Beyond its impressive production and export figures, Replika Press is committed to environmental responsibility. The company holds FSC certification and actively implements initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, PNG gensets, solar energy, and net-zero emissions. It is also actively involved in Ecovadis and the Book Chain Project, demonstrating a concentrated effort towards transparent and accountable book exports.

This commitment to excellence, quality, innovation, and responsibility is a core reason for its recognition as the Export Company of the Year.
