Over the years, Brilliant Printers has established itself as a master in Bible printing. This year, too, three of the company’s samples were Bibles, each showcasing the company’s unique approach to producing Bible-related products.
Armor of God for HarperCollins is a complex and demanding project due to its intricate specifications, premium quality and multiple high-end processes, including 1,536 pages printed on 36-gsm paper. The book integrates multiple materials like PU cover, flex board and slipcase board, which demanded careful execution at every stage. 55,000 copies were printed.
Clear Focus Bible for Kids for HarperCollins involves multiple stages of precision work, specialised materials and intricate finishes. The printing highlight of the 2,144-page book, printed on 40-gsm paper, is the incorporation of bionic printing for enhanced readability, which required exceptional font clarity and alignment. 4,200 copies were printed.
The other two samples from Brilliant, My Catholic Bible for Fleurus Editions (2,000 copies) and Mindspace for Charmaine Timothy (12,000 copies) required precise execution of four-colour printing on a hardbound format, incorporating advanced finishing techniques, such as hot foil stamping and gold-edge gilding, spot UV, and lamination with matte finishing.
