PrintWeek Awards 2023: Perfect Packaging wins Innovative Printer of the Year (paper / paperboard / corrugated) (Joint Winner)

The product is a unique blend of vintage design with a classic black colour crafted from high-quality material to create a memorable and luxurious feel. 

The concept was for a vintage perfume gift collection, based on a unique fusion of black and vibrant colour combinations.

The product was designed in Photoshop and CorelDraw with four colours plus two special colours. The design includes vintage Indian painting and wave pattern, and Victorian standard font.

The product was printed on a two-colour and a four-colour Heidelberg machine, with gold UV foiling, wrinkled UV and crystal UV printing. The outer box has thermal velvet lamination, gold UV foiling and silver CC metPET printing. 

A total of 3,000 sets were produced.

Commercial Art Engravers 

Commercial Art Engravers received a Special Jury Mention in this category for the Owo card and invitation for Hinduja Group. Inspired by the hostel’s architecture and history, the job captures the opulence of the property and gives a glimpse of the hospitality the elite guests could expect. The technology involved was handled by highly skilled operators who are creative craftsmen with artistic talent to produce superior quality solutions. A total of 1,250 cards were produced and the envelopes were digitally customised.
