PrintWeek Awards 2019: Manipal Technologies wins Magazine Printer of the Year

Manipal, which was a joint winner in the category, with Silverpoint Press in 2018, emerges as the sole winner this year.

The Vogue 11th Anniversary Special, with a run-length of 40,000 copies, was printed on the Komori S38, Komori L840 and Mitsubishi D3000L. Inserts were added during binding. Post-press includes online gloss aqua coating and offline UV.

The special feature of the Vogue Style List 2018, with a run-length of 40,000 copies, is that sub copies were inserted into the magazine. The cover has online gloss aqua coating on both sides, and offline UV on the outer cover.

The Vogue Wedding Book 2018, with 40,000 copies, has aqueous drip-off on the front cover and online gloss aqua coating on the inside. Post-press also includes foiling.

The NGT India Wild-Eyed Wonders, with a run-length of 10,000 copies, has online gloss aqueous for both sides, and offline UV on front cover.
