Ravi Shankar, managing director, Printronics, said, “Short-run labels are becoming more popular due to the concept of branding of new products, release of new flavours, reduction of inventory and faster delivery of labels. The economics of digital flexo printing presses for short run labels is also a contributing factor.”

Launched in 2013, the press, Tau 330, had been installed by more than 50 printers worldwide. However, there are no installations in India so far.

Established in 2014, Printronics is a partnership firm with a combined experience of 60 years in printing industry, especially in pre-press, flexo printing, signage and POP markets.
