Print shines through at Kyoorius Advertising and Design Awards 2014

The first Kyoorius Design and Advertising Awards in Mumbai was a grand affair with close to 1000 advertising and design industry’s dignitaries in attendance as the best in Indian advertising and design were awarded with 37 Blue Elephants and 4 Black Elephants.

Ideas@Work and Grey Worldwide both picked up a Blue Elephant each in the press advertising category for Parsi New Year (for Rustomjee Builders) and Duracell Positive & Negative (for Procter and Gamble) respectively. 

Grey Worldwide also took home another Blue Elephant for their Torch 'Squeeze' OOH campaign for Procter and Gamble, the other award in the outdoor advertising category was picked up by Ogilvy & Mather India for their Lenovo Spillproof campaign for the Chinese computer manufacturers.

Ogilvy & Mather India emerged as the most awarded agency in the first edition of the Kyoorius Advertising and Digital awards, organised by Kyoorius and UK's D&AD.

Out of the 37 Blue Elephants awarded, 24 were in Advertising and 13 in Digital. The jury comprised of ​​Rosie Arnold, deputy executive creative director, BBH (foreman); Abhijit Avasthi, NCD, Ogilvy & Mather; Agnello Dias, chairman and co-founder, Taproot India; Senthil Kumar, NCD, JWT India; and Sonal Dabral, chairman and CCO, DDB Mudra Group.
