Kundli, Haryana-based Print Panache has invested in India’s first Lombardi Smartline. The machine was supplied and installed by Vinsak, the India representative of Lombardi.

Serving over 1,200 clients across India, and over 30 years of experience, Print Panache produces 1 million labels and half-a-million cartons per day, specialising in self-adhesive and pressure-sensitive labels and high-quality carton boxes across sectors such as food and beverages, personal care, pharmaceuticals, automotive, and more.

"This marks our third Lombardi installation with Vinsak, and with each new addition, our trust in their technology and support continues to grow,” said Anuj Kumar Gupta, partner, Print Panache.

Shaswat and Raghav Bansal, partners, Print Panache, added, “The Lombardi Smartline press will play a crucial role in enhancing our production capabilities and maintaining the high standards of quality we are known for.”

“India has always been a key market with a special focus, and Print Panache, our key customer, consistently drives us to innovate," stated Massimo Lombardi, general manager of Lombardi Converting Machinery in Italy.

Following the success of the Lombardi I2, this latest addition to Vinsak’s portfolio brings a powerful, entry-level solution designed to meet the evolving needs of label converters.

The new Smartline press, on the heels of the proven Lombardi Synchroline platform, offers a robust solution for producing precise pressure-sensitive paper and film labels, the press accommodates up to 450-mm web width, with a printing width of 430-mm.

Featuring servo-driven components, Smartline provides accurate web tension control, making it ideal for high-quality label production with minimal downtime.

Equipped with servo-driven unwinder and infeed modules, eight UV flexo printing stations, a die-cutting station, and an outfeed/rewinding station.

The machine’s flexible configurations will allow Print Panache to tailor production processes according to client specifications. Its rail-mounted system includes essential modules like delam/relam, air-assisted turn bar, and cold foil units, which expand the range of label finishes available. Its mechatronic system minimises transmission parts like gears and belts, resulting in lower maintenance costs and increased machine uptime.
