This expansion in width allows for broader web handling and the implementation of glue and tape inspection

Pratham Technologies utilised the Pamex 2026 platform to demonstrate its latest fully automatic packaging line, configured around the OPF 53/12 model. The system integrates a series of modules, including slitting, a BFC 29/4 long conveyor for 53cm paper, a knife, and pressing. The line also features a single tabber, tape detection, an O’Ring FDC divertor 53cm, and a transfer conveyor with an ejector. For quality control, the configuration incorporates an advanced pixelwise vision system, superprint and inspection, and the STP 1200.

The event marked the first introduction in India of a 53-inch wide-format range. This expansion in width allows for broader web handling and the implementation of glue and tape inspection. A robotic tray packaging system handles the final stage of the process, designed specifically for the requirements of outsert customers. By combining the 53-inch format with pixelwise vision and automated ejection, the line addresses the specific inspection and handling needs of pharmaceutical leaflet outserts production.

The commercial impact of the showcase resulted in several finalised contracts during the exhibition. Datta Deshpande, CEO of Pratham Technologies, confirmed deals with five print houses totalling INR 3.43-crore. These agreements reflect the industry's transition toward integrated automation in the post-press segment.
