Picture Gallery: Rare books from the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum

Faheem Agboatwala of Hi-Tech Printing Service visited the Turkish and Islamic Arts Museum, Istanbul in the month of December where he saw the collection of handwritten and illuminated books.

Agboatwala said, “These collections would mainly interest people who are keen to study Islamic art.”

These books are well preserved and documented - and they belong from the eighth century to the seventeenth century.
