Parbhat Packaging installs Autoprint Repetto 65 –V2

Delhi-based Parbhat Packaging has installed the Repetto 65-V2 automatic sheetfed flatbed die-punching and creasing machine from Autoprint to strengthen its post-press operations. Until now, the company was running the operations manually. The machine has been supplied by Popli Graphics, which represents Autoprint in the northern parts of the country.

Parbhat has installed the Autoprint to complete its finishing segment

Autoprint Repetto 65-V2 can handle paper size from 250x305-mm (10x12-inches) to 500x680-mm (19.7x26.8-inches) at the maximum speed of 4,500 sheets an hour. The paper thickness can vary from 0.1 to 0.6-mm and maximum punching area is 480x660-mm (18.9x26-inch).

The machine which weighs approximately, 5,500-kg, consumes around 12-kw electricity.

Sanjeev Goel of Parbhat Packaging said, “We are investing and buying machines towards a complete unit under one roof. The Autoprint Repetto installation was a part of it.”

He added that today having all equipment under one roof is the key to be successful in the business, adding that Parbhat Packaging is heading towards that. “Right now, except pre-press, we have all the facilities in-house. Thus we, can offer better quality and complete job according to customers’ need,” Goel said.

He said as Parbhat is a small packaging printing company, he wanted a machine in post-press which is capable of converting small sizes jobs faster and with accuracy. “It fits in our budget too,” Goel added. “Autoprint Repetto has fulfilled all our requirements.”

Sanjeev Goel started his career as a graphic designer in 1999, followed by freelancing before venturing full-fledged into print production with the establishment of Parbhat Packaging in 2005.

The company manufactures cartons for electronic accessories, especially for mobile and fragrance industries. Most of the produced jobs are with of UV/ hybrid UV. It has three plants within the same vicinity and is equipped with one five-colour 19x26-inches and two double-colour 19x26-inches printing presses.

Around 50 people work in all three plants in 12 hours shift. On future, Goel concluded, “We will be clubbing all the three plants in a big unit in Sahibabad industrial area and scale up production.”
