Pamex 2023: Think Print highlights pre-press software

Established in 2002, Think Print offers solutions to simplify and enhance the efficiency of makeready. According to the company, it has been solving tiny yet time-consuming issues by providing better software solutions.

Hemanshu Desai of Think Print said “There is a lot to be done yet. Pre-press is not really focused upon. But pre-press is the key to achieving better results at a job. People end up receiving files that contain a lot of colour issues, mis-registration, missing fonts, and so on. We have tried to reduce these errors through our software.”

He added, “In my experience, I have seen people lose lakhs of rupees because they did not invest two minutes on the pre-press to identify and rectify the errors. People have realised these issues and are now convinced to invest in pre-press software,” he added.

The other interesting topic that Desai stressed upon was education. He believes that updating and parting knowledge about a niche like pre-press is important because the entire print and pack process depends on the pre-press file.
