“Print enhancement is a trend in the industry and the latest look out is for reasonably priced and feature rich foiling machines. We have introduced one such model to meet customer requirement, the Foilam 100, which is robust feature rich to save foil and give best result,” Nilesh Parmar of Pinnacle said.

The company also displayed its V-shaped lay flat binding technology that can create lay flat openings along with landscape or portrait pictures in two different prints.

“At Pamex, we displayed three different concepts — one for print finishing such as the foiling machine, V-shaped binding machine and the laminators,” he said. “Our machines can cover small-sized to large-sized photo albums; A5 to B2. And the sizes can be adjusted with the different settings of the machine.”

Parmar added, “We have got a good response for all our products, as many people from the photo industry are present in this exhibition.”

The V-shape binding machine is an inline process designed to make a photo book. The processes like paper feeding, window cutting, hole punching in V shape, thermal lamination and auto cutting are all automatised.

The binding machine is suitable for both digital and offset and the model differs for single side print and double side print. It is targeted at the visual book market, and catalogues. Parmar said that the photo album industry has a growth rate of 20 to 25%.
