Pamex 2020: Rohan Cards installs Asia's first Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 Anicolor 2

Speaking about the new investment, Milind Sawant, director at Rohan Cards and Printers, said, “We're proud to announce that we've installed Asia's first Heidelberg Speedmaster XL 75 Anicolor 2 at our facility in Pune. The machine has arrived and the operation should probably begin by the end of this month [January]."

Sawant, who was present at the Rohan Cards stall at Pamex, said the machine is suitable for the kind of work the company is currently doing.

“We are in short-run jobs, but with many SKUs. The capacity of the machine to print short runs is wonderful. And, obviously, the quality of print is wonderful. Also, the machine's capability of printing actual colours is really good," Sawant said.

The company started its operations 15 years ago. The company claims that it supplies its products and services to printers, designers and DTP operators pan-India.

Located in Pune, the company has a slew of Komori kits along with the latest Heidelberg kit at its 15,000-sqft facility. “We have latest printing and product finishing machineries and all our products are supplied pan-India through our dealer network, as well as our online portal," he said. “Previously, we used to have multiple setups of Komori. Now we are shifting to Heidelberg because we like its technology," he added.

The company has almost six authorised dealers in Mumbai. Besides that they have dealer network spread across seven states in India, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Goa.

As of now, the company prints almost 45 different types of business cards, different invitation cards, brochures, letters, envelopes, pamphlets, certificates, special paper bags used by high-end brands and jewellers, and different types for food packaging.

Speaking about Pamex 2020, Sawant said, “The experience at the show has been really good. There has been very good crowd and we're getting compliments as well. Every year, we participate at Pamex. For the last three Pamex events, we've been associated as one of the major sponsors for the show."
