Pamex 2020 begins with a bang

Pamex 2020, the flagship event organised by the All-India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), in association with Print-Packaging.com, opened its doors in Mumbai on 6 January. The show, being held at Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, is on until 9 January.

Featuring gen-next technologies from the world over, the 2020 edition of the show is hosting more than 400 exhibitors from more than 25 countries in a 10,000-sqft exhibition area.

On 6 January, the 14th edition of the show was officially inaugurated by Dibyajyoti Kalita, president, AIFMP, among other dignitaries. For the first time, representatives from all member associations of AIFMP were present at the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Chopra, chairman, Pamex said the exhibition has been growing year-on-year, and it is a sign of bullish outlook in the industry.

The 2017 edition of the show had more than 350 companies, and witnessed an unprecedented 25,223 unique visitors.

The year, the show has dedicated pavilions for label and narrow-web printing; paper and board converting and corrugated machinery and equipment, besides focusing on flexo and gravure printing, digital presses, web offset presses, sheetfed offset presses and signage machinery and process equipment.

The added attraction this year is the World Print and Communication Forum (WPCF) meet. The WPCF is a collaborative platform for the world’s major transnational and national printing associations, who work together to promote the development and prosperity of the global printing industry.
