“Packaging Matters. Consumers reported to make 80% of purchase decision at store shelf and in less than 5 seconds at that and of course, packaging matters to everyone in this room. Jobs are getting more complex, you have less time to do them, and they must be perfect first time. That’s where today’s modern software workflow solutions come in,” said Winderam.

The institute is the brainchild of Nizamappas, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience.

“Without the ability to take your customers’ ideas and turn them into print-ready files quickly and accurately regardless of your choice of printing process, you will have a problem in today’s competitive environment. The YesGo team, under the expert guidance of Nizam have recognised this and with this new venture are targeting precisely these top issues in our industry,” Winderam added.

Speaking about the object of the institute Nizamappas said, “Trained pre-press operators and designers in high-end prepress and packaging software is one of the most prominent requisite today to make Indian printing and packaging industry at par with global standards.  Several software solutions are available in the market but the industry is facing lack of skilled operators for the same as most of them don’t know where to learn them.”

Yes Go premise is said to host a full-fledged training cum placement centre. The candidates will have exposure to all the latest packaging pre-press software of global standard and training would be offered in three-levels of varying difficulties.

According to Nizamappas, the Level 1 of the course will have Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and Corel Draw at the foundation level. “In the second level, we will look at Esko’s Artioscad, Despack plus Plato, and Adobe Illustrator. In the final stage, the expert level constitutes of Esko’s ArtiosCAD, Deskpack – Illustrator, Photoshop, Plato, Packedge, Artpro and Studio.”
