Media Expo: Nilkamal's all-weather tear-proof substrate

BubbleGuard is a sandwich of pure PP material comprises of the circular honeycomb structure in the middle imparting uniform strength throughout the board.

Prajakta Sathe, marketing manager for the BubbleGuard division of Nilkamal said, “Owing to its honeycomb structure and being non-fluted it resists bending, cracking and offers high-durability.”

BubbleGuard’s entry into the printing segment under the brand PrintGuard was started the last year in the month of June. Sathe said, “PrintGuard is a perfect alternative for the sunboard, PVC foam board which are being used in the POP and signage industry. Sunboard or the PVC foam board often tends to crack or tear and are difficult to fabricate whereas PrintGuard offers high-strength throughout the board and easy to fabricate any kinds of design.”

Substrate offers a matte texture and both the sides are corona treated with treatment levels of above 42 dynes enhancing the adherence of ink to the substrate. The material used for the PrintGuard is 100% PP, therefore it is totally recyclable.

PrintGuard is compatible with the flatbed digital printers, screen printers and PVC vinyl and paper lamination.

POS display, danglers, window display, promotional signage, exhibition panels, in-store are some of the applications of PrintGuard in the signage market.
