Megabound shows new machines, follows it up with 12 deals

Bengaluru-based manufacturer of case-making and perfect binding machines, Megabound, has announced the sale of 12 machines which were on display at the show. Also, according to Srinivasa Reddy, director-marketing at Megabound, they have another 58 orders in pipeline.

The 12 machines sold at the show include newly launched automatic rotary board cutter, automatic board to board pasting machine, conveyor gluing, fully automatic four-clamp perfect binding machine and a fully automatic case-binding machine which is the first-of its kind machine manufactured in India. It is a compact machine with a size of 2x2 meters in size.
 
The other machines sold at the show include casing-in machines, joint forming machines and book press machines. Out of this, eight machines have been picked up by customers from Kuwait, Dubai, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
 
The idea behind the launch as Reddy claimed was, the sudden increase in the need and requirements of case-binding machines.
 
Srinivasa Reddy, director-marketing at Megabound, said, “At the show we have focussed on offering the visitors with economical solutions for the case-binding segment with machines from basic configuration to high-end solutions.” He further added, “Majority of the order received are from our existing clients and this speaks volumes about our product quality.”
 
Megabound team is optimistic about reaching a figure of about 100 machines by the last day.
