Media Expo 2023: Monotech focuses on UV printers

Akash Kumar, marketing head, Monotech Systems, said, “Being a regular participant of the exhibition, we are participating in the 50th edition of the show with a focus on UV printers. We see a shift from solvent-based printers to UV printers in the industry and our entry-level UV printers help with that shift. We are providing a bridge for that shift. In UV printing, the application is more important than the process. So, we have established a gallery of UV-printed samples in the exhibition. Showcased samples are printed on different models of our UV series.”

He added that looking at the regulations in the different parts of the country and the ongoing demand for UV printing, the company is showcasing Pixeljet Mini RTR, the entry-level roll-to-roll UV printer. 

“It is the best solution for printers who want to upgrade themselves from solvent to UV printing. We have already installed a few of the printers and are getting good responses from the market,” Kumar said.

The second product the company is showcasing is Pixeljet UV mini, an entry-level UV flatbed printer that can print on almost rigid materials.

He added, “On this occasion, we would like to announce a new association with China’s Skyjet, one of the biggest wide-format printer manufacturers in China. After this association, we will be offering UV synchronous single and double-sided printers in the industry.”
