FIG is now fully gearing up to present Mark Andy’s prowess in flexo label production at the upcoming LMAI Conference 2025, which is scheduled to take place from July 3–6 in Jaipur, under the theme ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries’. In India, Mark Andy has marked a vast machine installation base with a host of happy customers in which FIG plays a committed role in delivering the best presses and best post-sales service.

Florian Stroe, sales manager, Mark Andy, said, “Together with FIG, we are a trustworthy business partner for our Indian customers. We say ‘your growth is our growth’ to our customers because we truly feel proud of all the successful installations of Mark Andy presses that bring fresh revenues to their businesses. Credit for all these must go to our undisputed partner FIG.”

According to Stroe, India is and will be an evolving market because of the dynamics of businesses and the needs for new servo technologies to replace some old and low production equipment. “We see new flexo presses are getting into the present Indian market, prepared to be the products for future. In the scenario, hybrid digital presses will gradually gain popularity as we see a lot of convertors showing interest in the fusion technology.”

When it comes to global shift in short-run and customised printing, Mark Andy presses are now fully servo driven and automated to minimize makeready waste, setup time, with very tight registration allowing to print even expanded gamut. “However, for short-run jobs we have the best hybrid solution—Digital Series HD UV inkjet press, a productive, efficient, fully modular, and capable machine to integrate any custom equipment or technology,” said Stroe.

Either flexo or hybrid model, Mark Andy presses available in India are perfectly designed and engineered to meet the latest market demands. “Fully servo driven and automated, all our presses need low maintenance and they last long,” Stroe said, adding, “Other added advantages include lowest makeready times and setup waste with highest productivity.”

On the ongoing debate on digital vs flexo vs hybrid, what Stroe tells about what future holds for Mark Andy presses on this front in the next five years down the line is of digital and hybrid growing rapidly to handle more short-run jobs. He adds, “We do not want to make predictions. Our endeavor is to strive to be one of the top manufacturers of flexo and digital hybrid presses in the world.”

As a goodwill message to Indian converters exploring premium label and packaging solutions, Stroe concluded, “Please reach out to us and our partner FIG to discuss about your projects and growth in business as we have the right solutions and technologies.”
