Pointing out the key trends Manroland has seen in the Indian print industry, Tandon said, “The Indian print industry is undergoing a rapid transformation with the entry of efficient and productive technologies in the fields of printing and finishing. Indian customers are increasingly investing in technology to upgrade their production facilities resulting in better productivity and higher cost efficiency. The quality outputs of the top Indian printers match stringent international standards and have enhanced export opportunities in this stream. Going forward, we believe that better technology will play a key role in the growth of the Indian print industry, with an increasing number of customers making discerning choices in their equipment and technology infrastructure to succeed.”
