Under this partnership, GEM Enviro will help Manpasand Beverages with the necessary infrastructure to recycle the PET bottles in Maharashtra.

Abhishek Singh, director, Manpasand Beverages, said, “Our customer’s health and well-being have always been the foremost guiding principles at Manpasand. Manpasand has always embraced every initiative that has enhanced the customer’s and the society’s interest at large.”

He added, “We completely support and second the government’s vision of sustainable implementation of the plastic waste management and pledge to create a healthier environment by thoroughly embracing and implementing this PET recycling initiative.”

According to Singh, the first phase of implementation is expected to be at Maharashtra. He also mentioned about how the company is working on other alternative sustainable packaging solutions that create less waste and are completely recyclable, reusable and renewable.

Sachin Sharma, director, Gem Enviro Management, said, “Gem Enviro Management will help Manpasand Beverages to fulfil its EPR obligation as per the PWM 2016 and Maharashtra State Government Notifications regarding the same. To achieve this we will set up sufficient infrastructure involving collection centres, RVM’s and so on, throughout the state of Maharashtra in the next 4-6 months. “

With this partnership, Gem Enviro Management aims to make Manpasand Beverages’ facility in Maharashtra become PET neutral within 8-12 months.
