Madhuri Prints upgrades production with Canon
Mumbai-based Madhuri Prints has upgrades its facility with a new Canon ImagePress V800 digital colour production press.

Ashwin Chandavarkar, proprietor of Madhuri Prints, said a new paradigm of printing on speciality or textured media is unfolded at its facility with the newly installed iPR V800. He said, “This all-new advanced Canon engine is the first machine we bought from Canon India. It has been just a matter of five months since it arrived in our facility. In such a short span, we have produced a range of stunning graphic prints using a variety of unconventional media like coated papers and luxury textured substrates. In a way, we now expand our range of innovative print applications with the new iPR V800.”
The production setup of Madhuri Prints is packed with many other high-end machines from Konica Minolta, Duplo, and others, alongside a string of post-press equipment. “Every single machine running in our production setup has its own role to produce stunning graphic prints. However, this new iPR V800 is way ahead of any other machine in its class when it comes to printing on special media like canvas and such substrates. Graphic prints, which we currently produce on this Canon digital colour production press, really woo our customers,” Chandavarkar said.
Chandavarkar said, “Compact with small footprint, iPR V800 prioritises maximum functionality in minimal space. In addition, its versatility in handling varied media, which primarily includes the coated and textured substrates, is commendable. A wide range of media, like covers, envelopes, synthetics, and long sheets up to 1,300-mm, to name a few, are now what we confidently print on this new Canon digital production press in a way which we have never done before. It all can be done because of the press’s unique features and capabilities.”
Certainly, iPR V800 is widely acclaimed for being a compact digital system fully packed with advanced features. It operates at the speed of printing 80 A4-size ppm. With speed, this compact Canon digital press boasts of quality printing as it flawlessly churns out graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400x2400dpi, compatibly using both lightweight and heavyweight papers of grammages ranging from 52- up to 350-gsm.
Active in the market for more than 25 years, Madhuri Prints pulls a high volume of walk-in customers and some jobbers.
