Look who’ll be talking at Print Summit 2024

Print Summit 2024 (PS24) on 18 January 2024 gives the Indian print industry an opportunity to hear directly from the experts, and your peers on how they are solving challenging business and print production issues.

Faheem Agboatwala, chairman of PS24 is adamant that knowledge is key to developing a sustainable culture. 
 
“PS is a meticulously planned event” he told PrintWeek/WhatPackaging? after the successful return of PS23 following the Covid pandemic break. “PS is an occasion for industry stakeholders to come together and learn and enjoy at the same time, this year its exceptionally power packed” “We have leaders across industry as well as start-ups, there is something for everyone in the audience. Like last year we expect a full house of close to 1000 delegates”
 
PS24 will be hosted at NCPA’s Tata Theatre, Nariman Point, Mumbai.
 
Agboatwala informed that PC Mustafa, founder of ID Fresh Food, has confirmed as the keynote speaker at PS24.
 
Mustafa, who graduated from NIT, Calicut and worked in Motorola and Citibank before joining IIM-Bangalore, founded ID in 2006. The company serves one-million idlis a day and aims to raise it to 10-million a day in three years, according to a media report which interviewed Mustafa. “It’s innovation, attention to quality and common sense that’s built his company. “Opportunity lies everywhere; you just need common sense to spot it.”
 
Mustafa will speak on his incredible journey from dropping out of school to making his company value more than a thousand crores, most importantly he will touch upon how packaging helped his company grow.
 
The other key speakers are: Boman Irani, film industry icon; Roshan Abbas, acclaimed theatre and media professional; Devdutt Pattanaik, India’s most-renowned mythologist; Sumant Bhargavan, executive director at ITC.
 
There are two power-packed panel discussions, one dedicated to the women leaders in print (moderated by Iqbal Kherodawala) and the other with young turks (moderated by Ankul Nanavaty) who have spun off traditional businesses and made theier new ventures highly profitable.
 
Print Summit is an annual event organised by the Bombay Master Printers' Association (BMPA) in memory of Johannes Gutenberg, the father of printing.
