Labelexpo Europe 2019: Multitec Aids inks deal with Russian firm for S1

According to Anton Denisov, manager, Label Group, this is the company’s third investment narrow-web flexo press from Multitec in the last four years.

“Thus, we are experience and confident about Multitec Aids. The press can produce most of the types of labels we cater to our customers,” Denisov said. “We produce all kind of labels, especially linerless and self-adhesive labels.”

He said the company runs the press at the speed of 100-m/ min but sometimes it runs the machine at 120-m/ min as well. He said in July the company produced 400,000-sqm of labels.

The S1 is an eight-colour, 45- mm wide narrow-web flexo printing press can run at the speed of 150-m/ min. It’s a full servo press equipped with two cold foil stations, delam relam and other advance equipment.

Amit Ahuja of Multitec Aids said this is the company’s sixth narrow-web flexo printing press in Russia and the third machine in one company. “Russia is becoming an important market for us, and thus, for us Labelexpo Europe is the best place for global exposure,” he said.

The S1 machine on display at the exhibition floor will be sent to Russia after the show.
