Focus would be launching its new generation of Proflex compact flexo press – Proflex SE – with open architecture print head design at the event. The Proflex SE is a fully servo-driven modular press, which will be available in print widths of 250mm and 330mm.

The new model is equipped with touch screen HMI operator interface panels with fully programmable digital platforms. The company claims that the new features have decreased set up time and material wastage, resulting in reduced downtime and higher productivity. Apart from that, the operator can control all aspects of press operation from any of the HMI panels, and can store job information for future retrieval on repeat orders.

Focus would also be displaying its d-Flex digital inkjet press, which incorporates full-colour Konica Minolta inkjet technology into the existing Reflex servo press. Visitors would be able to see variable images, overprinted in perfect register with UV flexo ink, then converted and rewound – in a single pass with speeds up to 50m/min.

The company would also be showcasing E-FLEX – a new flexo/digital combination press platform designed to meet the demands of medium and short run business, and a six-colour, 330mm wide press, equipped with a full UV drying and chill roll system.
