Andriessen: Thallo dramatically slashes time-consuming changeovers

Contiweb Thallo was launched in 2014, which was further engineered and developed with DG Press, a partner web offset service provider. Erik Andriessen, marketing manager for Contiweb, said, it’s our star product at the show. “Our flagship solution offers the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for short-run production. It allows print businesses to maintain a competitive edge and a healthy margin when outputting smaller jobs.”

With the capability to set-up a new job within minutes, the Thallo dramatically slashes time-consuming changeovers. It crucially allows businesses to increase throughput and exceed customer expectations for job turnarounds.

The Contiweb Thallo can print at a speed of up to 400 m/min on substrate thickness of 12 to 200 microns for both flexible and label applications, and on paperboard of up to 762-micron thickness.

The Contiweb Thallo is available in three version widths – 520mm, 850mm and 1050mm.
