Labelexpo 2022: VeePee buys two Esko kit

Bengaluru-based VeePee Graphic Solutions purchased its sixth CDI imager, a CDI Spark 4260, and its second XPS machine, a XPS Crystal 4260, from Esko at the Labelexpo 2022.

Arnab Maiti, general manager, South Asia, Esko, said, “Jaichandra has been one of our long-standing partners. He has been a part of every major innovation at Esko and was one of our early adopters for many of our products.” 

While the CDI Spark 4260 has a maximum plate size of 42x60-inches and comes with a range of optics, the XPS Crystal 4260 has digital LED exposure for flexo platemaking, which Maiti says is “ground-breaking”. 

VeePee invested in the second XPS after using it for a year and finding it to be valuable. 

“I consider Esko as an extended family, and not as a vendor given our long association. We have grown over the years with Esko by our side. The XPS is a new technology for us. It took us some time to understand it. When we realised that there is nothing better than experience, we decided to go in for a second machine,” said Jaichandra Peethambaram, CEO, VeePee Graphic Solutions. 

Peethambaram believes that there is more to come in the future and these acquisitions are just the start.
