Koelnmesse's food exhibition opens on 14 September

Coinciding with ANUTEC - International FoodTec India, the 15th edition of Annapoorna Anufood India – India’s International exhibition on food and beverage trade and retail market; as well as the 11th edition of PackEx India - a trade show for packaging materials and technology will showcase end-to-end solutions for food & beverage manufacturing needs.

The organisers Koelnmesse YA Tradefair said, “the trade show promises to offer three fruitful days of networking with food and beverage industry professionals.” There will be 700+ exhibitors from more than 20 countries. Other than live demos and product launches, the show has technical seminars and conferences, an innovation zone and guided factory tours.

The MSME department, the government of India, has accepted to financially support the micro and small enterprises exhibiting at ANUTEC International FoodTec India 2022 under the Procurement and Marketing Support Scheme. The financial support is completely at the discretion of the authorities of MSME department.

Some of the key trends to look out for as per Innova market insights are: The health of the planet is the top global issue for consumers in India; nutrition and sustainability play a bigger role as brands refine the next generation of plant-based foods; and consumers look for foods with associated health benefits. As per the Innova White Paper, more than 76% consumers are willing to spend money on premium products. Also, two out of five consumers look for processing techniques and ingredients that deliver health and taste benefits through more natural means.

The 16th edition of ANUTEC - International FoodTec India, a fair for food and drink technology is scheduled from 14 – 16 September 2022 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The show timings are: 10 am to 6 pm (14 and 15 September); and 10 am to 4 pm (16 September).
