In this context, Jumpstart, the annual conference on content development for children, organised by German Book Office, New Delhi, is back with Jumpstart 2017 to put a spotlight on learning and innovation.

Multifaceted innovations in the learning domain are making it possible for students to move away from rote-learning. According to a recent report, the largest demand is arising in English medium private schools. The projections for English medium K12 market are to the tune of Rs 7,000 crore. This demand is also being fuelled by the transition from rote-learning to concept-based learning whereby the institutions and parents are adapting newer formats and digitised education material to facilitate delivery of concepts.
