ITC's Papyra app helps choose the right paper, board

ITC's paperboards and specialty papers business has gone the digital route to help its customers choose the right paper and paperboard from ITC PSPD's vast portfolio for their packaging, graphic and specialty applications.

The mobile application is designed in such a way that customers can choose products based on their application or end-use. The user interface is bundled with intuitive features and calculators, which calculates tonnage and cross direction stiffness of the boards or paper. It also makes recommendations to the users based on the dimensions of the carton.

According to the company, the app aids in more informed decision-making – whether it is selecting the type of paper/board or determining the required quantity, and it "displays detailed product and technical knowledge at your fingertips".

Additionally, the user can directly get in touch with ITC PSPD team for any product enquiry through a dedicated option embedded in the app. The mobile application is currently available in iOS and Android platforms.
