Noel D'cunha, the managing editor of PrintWeek and WhatPackaging magazine and the brain behind InkWeek said, "The Indian ink industry is one of the most exciting components in the print and packaging value chain. With strides in technology, and new innovative standards in print and packaging products, the positioning of ink needs to be looked at (and relooked). This is what InkWeek aims to do. Ask the big question: Can ink brands and the industry collaborate and profit from ink’s creativity?"

Sudhanva Jategaonkar, B2B business head at Haymarket SAC Publishing added, "InkWeek will be a week-long (Monday – Friday) celebration of art, science, and joy of inks and the value that inks add to the finished products." InkWeek will see a mix of conversations and technology plus product presentations.

Jategaonkar added, "The printers, converters, supply universe, and brands would derive value from the initiative. Everyone must attend. Already we have notched up 250 registrations." Jategaonkar concluded, "The essence of print and packaging creativity is the ability to either look at different things from everybody else or to look at things in a different way. That's what InkWeek is about!"
