Industrial Printer 2015: Brandmark Solutions (Tie)
Quality Awards |
07 Oct 2015 | By PrintWeek India
From king-size prints to POP, POS units to signs and advertisements, submissions in this category this year raised the bar. Mumbai’s Neat Graphics and Brandmark Solutions stood out among the lot.
Brandmark Solution put its expertise in screen printing, digital wide-format printing and thermoforming to produce Lipton Green Tea – FSU and Parasite for Hindustan Unilever and Nivea Talc Touch – FSU and Mini FSU for Nivea India. Brandmark worked on the concepts of both the companies. For Lipton tea bag, it was to help grab the consumer attention and for Nivea, to launch a new product. For Lipton, Brandmark produced a larger than life cup with fluorescent green to give a strong brand recall. For Nivea, it created two FSUs for super stores with a compact design and optimum stocking, signalling the launch of the new products.
Lipton FSU was four-colour screen printed with stretchable ink on Pet-G substrate, thermormed and gloss laminated, while the Parasite job was digitally printed using HP 5500 six-colour printer, with the vinyl media punched and pasted. Roland 640 digital printer was employed for the Nivea products. Print runs ranged from 50 to 337 pieces.
