Hubergroup India joins Group’s worldwide 250 anniversary celebration

On 29 September, 2015, Hubergroup India joined 39 other international branches of Hubergroup, to celebrate the 250-year anniversary.

Hubergroup India commemorated the day with employees and their families weaving get-togethers and cultural events, which focused on folk art, music and dance. The celebrations were in line with the varied festivities approximately 3,500 employees of Hubergroup hosted worldwide and was in keeping with the local company size and regional traditions.
 
The 250th-anniversary celebration was also an opportunity for the Hubergroup India to recognise and honour the history of Hubergroup.
 
In 1765, Mathias Mittermayr received the permit from the electoral court in Munich to sell the inks Vienna Varnish, Prussian Blue, Carmine Red and some Yellows in Germany and abroad. This document is proof for the earliest, still operating printing ink maker, named after the grandson Michael Huber. The company still remains under the same family's ownership.

We feel the obligation towards our shareholders, employees, customers and associates to sustain this success through well-defined strategies that fit, to the continuously changing market conditions”.
 
Hubergroup acquired Micro Inks in 2005, continued to operate as Micro Inks for the next ten years, before changing to Hubergroup India in June this year. In its current form, it is the manufacturing hub for spot colour pigments and I-bases, flexible packaging inks, UV flushes, ketone and MF resins, and metal driers.
