Gulf Oil India managing director Ravi Chawla to be chief guest at Awards Night

He will present the coveted the Prism to the PrintWeek India Printing Company of the Year.

Chawla, has held positions responsible in Indian and MNC companies across FMCG, consumer and auto related products for the last 27 years with country level responsibility. He joined Gulf Oil as the president of its lubricant business in 2007 and has climbed the ladder to be appointed the managing director of the company in 2014. Today Gulf Oil is the number three brand “and fastest growing lubricant player in India.”

Speaking about the Awards and its process, Noel D’Cunha, managing editor of PrintWeek India said, "Rewarding the best in Indian industry from their body of work during the previous 12 months is a tough task. Which is why, we assembled a panel of 21 industry experts, made up of a cross-section of printers, suppliers, brand owners and retailers on 30 October to evaluate the 900+ samples."

Popular stage and film actor Denzil Smith who most played a significant role in the Saif Ali Khan starrer Baazaar and other films such as Phantom, Jagga Jassos, Bombay Velvet and Viceroy’s House will host the ceremony. Notably, Smith has played the lead in innumerable plays starring Naseeruddin Shah, Lilette Dubey, Dr Mohan Agashe. These plays have been performed in India and at international theatre fests.

The Awards Night show will be broadcast on BTVi - which is a premier English business news channel that bridges the gap between opinion seekers and opinion drivers.

The Award Night on 29 November (Thursday) shall unveil the winners at St Regis, Lower Parel.
