The prepress specialist, which offer products are processors for the offset and flexo printing industry, iCTP platesetters and automation equipment, stated at the Labelexpo that the new generation processor has a long exposure  which uses high power lamps which keeps the plate stable from the first to the last plate. It also has a flexographic production cycle for 660x810mm (26x32-inch) size plate.

“At G&J, we have been continuously trying to improve the efficiencies of our customers, by doing away with hurdles they face while processing the flexographic plates.  Sometimes, some process cause impediments, which is more likely to reduce efficiency, said Nigel Walsh, area sales manager for G&J. Walsh is also responsible for the India market. He said, “With the Concept 205 C, we now have everything that needs to be done to fire a flexographic plate in one compact unit.”

The new kit includes a redesigned exposure bed cooling system, an increased UV-A output suitable for any kind of plates (digital and analogue), a faster processing system, and an improved solvent monitoring and drying drawers with temperature uniformity. “The Concept 205 C is also designed to meet very high quality production of digital flexo plates and is ideal for HD flexo outputs,” said Walsh.

G&J has 20 installations of G&J flexo plate processors in India.

Besides the new kit, G&J acquired Microflex mounting table,  the Concept 305 DW, which G&J claims is the world’s first and most sold flexographic processor with double washout area were also on display.
