Foto Flash invests in Ricoh

“We have a line of inkjet engines in our production setup. New in the line, this top-of-the-line Rioch Pro C9500 digital colour production press is chosen to boost print quality and productivity,” Ranjith, managing director of Foto Flash Digital Lab Group (Hyderabad). He added that the machine, installed in April this year, has been running over the last five months in a game-changing manner to produce high-quality photo albums of all kinds because it is advantageously packed with advanced features.

About the productivity of the new Ricoh Pro C9500, Ranjith said, “In the first three months, we produced near about 400,000 sheets a month.” 

This robustly built Ricoh press is indeed a workhorse in a real sense of the term as it gallops at a stunning speed upgradable to 135-ppm. In addition to speed, media flexibility of the press is commendable as it handles a range of thin and thick substrates of 40- to 470-gsm for catering graphic prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2,400x4,800-dpi. 

Being a machine made for high-volume print production, the Ricoh Pro C9500 boasts a maximum 18,000-sheet input capacity, which in turn makes it a truly capable digital press that provides the continuity in uninterrupted high-volume print production. “After all, its colour consistency and registration are exceptional when compared to other digital engines,” Ranjith said, adding, “Till now, we get excellent results so consistently.”

He added, “Another specialty of this Ricoh Pro C9500 is that when we installed it around five months back, we took out a grey print. Today, when we check it again, it’s found to be the same without flaw. Yet another advantageous point—it runs without any snag or change of spare till date. It clearly shows that it needs little or no frequent servicing and its components or spare parts are durable. It’s ideally a modern marvel of digital printing.”

“My journey with Monotech Systems Limited started in 2011 when they were dealing in Konica Minolta then and we bought a Bizhub Press C70hc photo printing machine with some post-press equipment. So far, we have been happy with them. When we recently installed the Rioch Pro C9500, they still offered us the same standard of service we received then in 2011,” he concluded.
