(l-r) Krisyanto Ekokurniawan of Luster, Gourav Roy of FIG, Phil Baldwin of Mark Andy and Manohar Dhugga of Rotoflex are eager to meet customers at Labelexpo Europe 2023

Gourav Roy, MD, FIG, said, “For Labelexpo Europe 2023, our principles have come up with the latest technologies and updated equipment to meet the ever-changing demands from label converters. We invite all our existing and prospective customers to grab the latest products and technologies at the show.”

He continued, “As the demand for packaged food and goods is pushing the industry, we are also ready and upgrading ourselves to fulfil the demand. We believe that the label is a silent sales agent, not a printed piece of paper and film. So far, we have installed more than 300 Mark Andy presses and 50 Rhyguan finishing equipment in India. Please join us at Labelexpo Europe 2023 to witness the Mark Andy Pro Series in action, and others running live will be Rhyguan Modular Plus 330, new innovations from Maxcess, Labelhero Series inspection system from Luster and many more.”

Rhyguan to present modular PLUS 330

Rhyguan at Labelexpo will present a compact fully digital finishing machine with Corona, which features full rotary flexo (flood varnish), digital die-cutting, and automatic slitting. The machine is ideally designed for die-cutting without any tooling, without compromising on materials or the traditional look and feel of a die-cut label. It’s a modular machine with digital embellishments, specifically for efficient finishing of ultra-short-run jobs without any tool. It’s prepared for a JDF workflow and standard QR code scanning for automatic set-up.

For wine labels, Rhyguan will showcase its modular PLUS 330 with a new fast silkscreen unit, silk foil, and an excellent heavy-duty hot foil module with dual heating zones and constant dwell-time for reliable and fast set-up. For longer-run jobs, the company will show 50% improved productivity by increasing the semi-rotary die-cut speed from 60-m/min to 90-m/min with an improved slitting rewinding machine with automatic dual knife slitting blades for wrap-around bands, an excellent web-advance, job memory function and JDF. For the longest-run jobs, Rhyguan will also showcase a brand new fully automatic turret with automatic glue applicators and a quick-change mandrel system.

Luster to showcase LabelHERO series inspection system

At Labelexpo, the company is showcasing the prospective 100% label quality delivery solution — LabelHERO series inspection system.

In fact, LabelHERO Series Inspection System is a one-stop solution for mass/small batch label production such as inline/offline inspection application, and NG removal workflow (1 vs. 1/more). This system is ideal for flexible integration with flexo printing, digital printing, die-cutting & slitting, and variable types of production lines. How tough it can be to pick the optimum solution these days! Team LUSTER at the expo will provide visitors with genuine assistance.

Mark Andy to mark the global launch of its new PRO Series flexo press

Mark Andy will use Labelexpo Europe 2023 as the launch pad to introduce a new PRO Series flexo press. Designed to be attainable for cost-effective self-adhesive label production, the new flexo press is based on well-proven, servo technology from Mark Andy’s Performance and Evolution Series. The new PRO Series has a modular structure which means that depending on the user’s requirement a pure flexo press can be upgraded with a digital toner unit and transformed into a hybrid model.

Addressing the growing demand for hybrid presses, Mark Andy will also showcase its hybrid technology that uses digital and flexo printing with conventional finishing. As hybrid presses have become increasingly popular among label printers and converters worldwide, Mark Andy boasts its bestseller Digital Series HD equipped with a KurzDistorun embellishment module. The press will be demonstrated live during Labelexpo Europe 2023. Also, running live will be Mark Andy’s latest version of Digital PRO Max toner hybrid.

Mark Andy will also showcase the expanding activities of its Mark Andy Print Products (MAPP) – a strategic part of the group that was established ten years ago. It offers a constantly growing and comprehensive portfolio of end-to-end solutions for label manufacturing, including equipment and consumables, as well as service and consultancy.
