Fedrigoni eyes premium packaging, unveils three new products

The Splendourlux is a collection of cast-coated paper and board aimed at the luxury packaging sector; the Immaculate is a new collection of coated self-adhesive papers for the label sector; while a new liquid crystal thread and hologram is aimed at the banknotes and passport market.
 
Chiara Medioli, marketing director at Fedrigoni, said, “There are new regulations that demand more from packaging, for example, the new EU rules required cruets or bottles of oil on a restaurant table to be labeled, and therefore, the need for labels to stay clean, as well a look elegant. Our innovations offer brands this qualitative association between elegant packaging and excellence of contents.”
 
At present, 80% of Fedrigoni’s business is the commercial and security segment with only 20% in packaging.
