Erode’s Spy Printers installs South India’s first Canon ImagePress C910

Erode-based Spy Printers have completed the installation of South India’s first Canon ImagePress C910 at their premises. Founded in 1996 and involved in all kinds of printing widely into offset printing and digital marketing, Spy Printers is a leading printing company in the region.

Talking about the installation, Sathish, managing partner of Spy Printers said, “We are pleased to have invested in Canon ImagePress C910 along with ImageRunner Advance 8585 and look forward to the possibilities and avenues these presses will bring to our setup.”
 
The  C910 series was unveiled in July 2019 in India by Canon has print speeds of up to 90ppm along with high-speed duplex scanning and shorter warm-up time. The latest FS 350 platform on EFI Fiery G250  is said to have upgraded job, colour and VDP management features and has 48% faster-processing speed compared to its previous models. The 2400 X 2400 DPI engine prints at 190 LPI prints exceptional quality especially on textured boards and on other special papers and can handle a variety of applications including banner prints up to 1300 mm. Potential applications vary from book jackets to posters to four-fold leaflets.

“Our priority was to have a colour press that can help us produce high-quality texture prints, provide standard envelope and banner printing and have minimal paper jams to ensure reduced downtime.
