ERO Gluing Systems made its Indian debut at Pamex 2026, showcasing a range of new products aimed at the packaging and labelling sectors, at its partner Valco Melton’s stall. The Italian manufacturer highlighted its four-channel control system, featuring an integrated touch display, alongside the new pump.
A significant draw at the stall was the company’s Deep Learning (DL) system, which utilises AI for glue inspection, code checking, and anti-mixing. The AI-based system was designed to learn specific patterns to determine the quality of a box or a glue application by comparing it against learned data.
Reflecting on the exhibition's atmosphere, the company’s CEO, Emilio Ravelo noted that the experience was “overwhelming” yet rewarding due to the high volume of traffic and diverse visitor profiles. Conversations at the stall ranged from technical queries about gluing and inspection to broader industry advice sought by students visiting the show.
“Based on the amount of people here, I think it's a very developing market with a lot of opportunity and potential,” Ravelo remarked. While acknowledging the challenges of entering a price-sensitive market with numerous competitors, the company views Pamex as a vital opportunity to promote its brand and gain deeper market insights.
Looking ahead through 2026, the organisation’s vision is focused on global expansion. While ERO Gluing Systems currently maintains a strong customer base in Italy, the goal for the remainder of the year is to push the brand into emerging markets, including India, China, and Latin America.
“My focus for the rest of the year is trying to promote the ERO product outside of Italy and go into these emerging markets with the help of local partners like Ravi Kiran,” Ravelo added.
