According to Prashant Vachhani, the managing director of Swiss Pac, the investment was influenced by HP's commitment to the quality of printed products and their support services and consultative approach, which facilitate business opportunities.

Swiss Pac specialises in digitally printed packaging and offers a wide range of products, including coffee and tea pouches, beauty product packaging, pet food packs, and health food bags.

Vachhani said, "The HP Indigo 25K has allowed our company to cater to small — to medium-sized artisanal businesses by providing highly customised packaging that reflects their unique brand identity. Swiss Pac aims to empower these businesses to succeed in today's competitive market."

Swiss Pac is looking to expand its capabilities further with the recent addition of the HP Indigo 200K. The new digital press boasts a 30% increase in speed and 45% improvement in productivity compared to the HP Indigo 25K. It has gravure-matching colour quality based on the HP Indigo liquid electrophotography (LEP) and One-Shot Color technologies.

Vachhani reiterated Swiss Pac's unwavering commitment to its clients, from being the first to offer India's largest stock range of ready-made pouches to integrating the HP Indigo technology into our operations. "The addition of the Indigo 200K is a testament to this commitment, as it will further enhance our offering and strengthen our position in the market, ultimately benefiting our valued clients."

“The addition of a 200K press by Swiss pack is testament to how digital printing is solving the business problems of the flexible packaging converters . With a drastic improvement in the productivity , the 200k is releasing gravure and flexo capacities and paying back from day 1. We are proud to partner with Swiss pack which is providing the brands with the most sustainable printing solution with no MoQ and a drastically reduced turnaround time,” said A Appadurai at HP India.
