Alongside the glittering Awards Night, PrintWeek India will also be hosting a premier PrintWeek India Conclave which aims to bring together brand managers, print buyers and clients to address a gathering of elite print VIPs on the need for India’s print industry to project a better appeal and positive public image if it is to cope with rapid technological transformation.

Jo Francis, deputy editor from UK will be presenting a Drupa review alongside a panel discussion with key manufacturers; Gokul Krishnamurthy, the editor of Campaign India will discuss the “Power of Print” with top brands; and Subodh Kulkarni, packaging material supply chain director will talk on “Green initiatives by Tetra Pak”.

Other speakers include Tarun Rai, CEO of Worldwide Media (key trends in magazine publishing), Indrajit Sen, executive director of Indian Outdoor Advertising Association(the future of OOH in India), Yogesh Dixit of Crisil, plus a specialist from Oce, who is specially flying in for the event and a couple of brand specialists.

We expect the Conclave will provide an opportunity to deepen engagements between the brand managers, print buyers and print companies; to work together and speak in one voice on print matters.

And as Suresh Ramakrishnan, publisher of Haymarket Media believes, the first Conclave will ultimately develop into a platform that will find a credible access point for discussing technologies and partnerships.

Other than Canon India who are knowledge partners, the Conclave associates are Advanced Graphic Systems (AGS), Bobst India, Dupont India,  Garnett Papers, Goss International & SLKCG, GMC Software Technology, Henkel Adhesive,  Kala Jyothi and Welbound Worldwide.
