During the two-hour session, subject expert Afsal M Kottal, the business director of Percept Print Solutions, will explain the latest technology in colour management and highlight the importance of colour management solutions to produce a consistent result.

Kottal will throw light on useful techniques like to reduce transparencies, layers ad over printing objects in PDF, optimise the usage of ink among others. GMG has made inroads across India and its customer base is remarkable. Till date, more than 104 Indian print firms at their 150 locations have opted for GMG to ensure colour is consistent and accurate wherever it goes.

In Indian scenario, print firms who prefer colour managed workflow are those who print for international print buyers or those who cater to premium jobs where colour accuracy is important.

Kottal said, “As markets develop, the need for workflow automation, colour management, and marketing services is expected to rise.”

The monthly workshop series hosted by MMS for print owners has been conceived with an aim to explain the latest technology in a simple language which will help them invest in the required product or services effectively.
